海外のアーティスト・イン・レジデンスに参加する、写真・映像を表現手段とする日本の若手アーティストの渡航費（旅費）をサポートするプロジェクトTRAVEL / kanzan gallery。

今年度は、写真家・松本美枝子さんが2025年3下旬から4月初旬、ブラジル・サンパウロ市のレジデンシー、Atelier Fidalga「アトリエ・フィダルガ」 に参加され、滞在制作を行いました。

現地では、2022年冬から継続している「都市を泳ぐ」シリーズの撮影をサンパウロで実施。インスタントカメラを用いて、ヨーロッパ、南米、日本など世界各地の都市の風景や人々の日常を捉えました。滞在制作の成果も含む新作による2回目の個展「光がとどまるところ　ONE DAY ONE MOMENT」を2025年6月にgallery and shop 山小屋（恵比寿）にて開催されました。レジデンシーでの制作などの情報をスライドを交えながらお話いただきます。

また報告会終了後の午後5時ごろより、ブラジル出身の作曲家・サウンドアーティスト、パウロ・ダンタスによるライブを開催します。

このライブでは、コロナ禍の2020年にリオデジャネイロのアートプロジェクトで制作された作品2曲を上演します。（午後6時ごろ終了予定）

TRAVEL / kanzan gallery is the project that supports travel expenses for young Japanese artists working in photography and video to participate in international artist-in-residence programs.
This year, photographer Mieko Matsumoto participated in a residency at Ateliê Fidalga in São Paulo, Brazil, from late March to early April 2025, where she engaged in artistic production during her stay.
During her residency, she continued photographing for her “Swimming Through Cities” series, which began in winter 2022. Using instant cameras, she captured urban landscapes and daily life of people in cities across Europe, South America, Japan, and other locations around the world. Her new works, including the results of her residency production, were presented in her second solo exhibition “光がとどまるところ ONE DAY ONE MOMENT” at gallery and shop Yamagoya (Ebisu) in June 2025. She will share information about her residency work through a slide presentation.

Following the presentation, at approximately 5:00 PM, we will host a live performance by Paulo Dantas, a Brazilian composer and sound artist.

This performance will feature two pieces created for an art project in Rio de Janeiro during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. (The event is scheduled to conclude around 6:00 PM.)
